nih-dbus-tool software package provides NIH D-Bus Binding Tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nih-dbus-tool
nih-dbus-tool is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nih-dbus-tool package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nih-dbus-tool *
You will get with nih-dbus-tool package name, version, architecture and description in a table
